Valve gab bekannt, dass es wieder eine Reihe an Games dank Greenlight auf die Steam-Plattform geschafft haben. Zudem haben es diesmal auch Software-Titel wie z.B Bandicam geschafft.
Die neue Welle beinhaltet 13 weitere Spiele sowie 6 Software-Titel. Seit der Einführung der Greenlight-Funktion ende September haben es nun insgesamt 50 Titel geschafft, sich ein Grüneslicht zu ergattern und somit einen Platz auf Steam gesichert. Anscheinend kommt die Greenlight-Funktion sehr gut an, wir sind gespannt was uns noch alles erwarten wird. In den 3 Monaten habe sich zudem der Anteil sowie der Verkauf von Indie-Titeln auf Steam um 50% gesteigert.
Alden Kroll von Valve sagte:
„In just three months, the community has helped us identify 50 new titles for us to offer via Steam. With the help of Greenlight, the indie games market share of games sold on Steam has increased by 50 percent for a third consecutive year. That’s a stat we are proud of, but one we also hope to increase as we learn more about Greenlight and continue to refine it in the new year.“
